Zero Data Storage

QR Clipboard Bridge is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not store, log, or retain any clipboard content that passes through our service. Your data exists only in memory during the brief moment of transfer and is immediately discarded.

How It Works

• When you initiate a transfer, a temporary session is created with a unique identifier
• Your clipboard content is transmitted directly from your phone to your computer (or vice versa) via WebSocket
• The content passes through our server's memory only and is never written to disk or any database
• Sessions automatically expire after 10 minutes of inactivity
• Once a transfer completes, the session is immediately deleted

What We Don't Collect

• We do not store clipboard content
• We do not log clipboard content
• We do not track individual users
• We do not use cookies for tracking
• We do not sell or share any data

Technical Details

Our service uses ephemeral in-memory sessions that automatically expire. Content is transmitted via WebSocket connections and exists only during the active transfer. No clipboard data is ever written to persistent storage.

Security

Each transfer session uses a unique UUID that acts as an access token. Only devices with the exact QR code or link can participate in a transfer session. Sessions are single-use and are destroyed after the transfer completes.
